Order your portrait from this website. Choose one or two subject custom pet portrait here. Custom pet portraits come in size 12x16
Email info@waterpop.art your reference photo. Indicate your name and order number. See below for some great reference photo examples or follow my Instagram account to see more about my process here. I also have a Facebook page here.
Receive confirmation within 24 hours for the receipt of your reference photo and a time estimate for when your order will be completed.
Receive a text or email photo of your completed painting.
Receive final contact with mail tracking number.

Materials
All custom pet portraits are painted using professional watercolor paints and 100% cotton 140lb watercolor paper. Once the painting is finished they are coated with a clear protective wax varnish made to last forever.
Return/Refund Policy
As expected, there may be delays with packages (especially during holidays). There is always a risk for things getting lost in the mail. In this unusual scenario, I will submit an inquiry about the delayed package. Typically any issues are resolved and packages are ultimately delivered. However, if your piece is confirmed that it has been lost in the mail, I will gladly make a professional print copy of your commission at no cost to you and refund you half the cost of your original piece.
Shipping
Shipping, packaging, and delivery fees for all custom pet portrait orders are included in the price. Paintings are safely sealed in a protective closure cellophane bag, bubble wrapped with corner protectors in a cardboard mailer and shipped via Fedex. You will receive an email with the tracking number to ensure safe delivery every step of the way.
Ready to send directly as a gift!
All custom pet portrait orders come with bright white matting and backing board (see below). The original painting is beautifully sealed and secured with a satin ribbon to create the perfect finished look and ready to pop into your favorite 16x20 frame or gift as is. Framing is not included.
Timeline
Timelines vary by a lot depending on the time of year and can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 12 weeks, but on average turnaround time is about 4 weeks. Please feel free to check in with me via email at the time of your order for more details on timeline at info@waterpop.art.

When you order a pet portrait you will receive:
The original 12x16 hand painted and signed pet portrait is safely secured inside 2" bright white matting and backing board, sealed in a cellophane bag with corner protectors and tied with ribbon ready to pop into your favorite frame or gift as is to that special person.

Reference Photo Help
The best reference photos include the following
Natural light by a window or cloudy day. Try to avoid very harsh sunlight on the subject so it doesn’t blast out their true colors.
High definition clarity or no further than 4 feet away from the subject.
Showcasing subjects special qualities (example: underbite, floppy ear, markings, etc.)
Downloaded and saved (Please avoid sending screenshots)
Scan physical photo if possible instead of taking a photo with your phone of the physical photo
